Highway A4 in the direction of Schaffhausen. Exit at Schaffhausen Nord. Bear right to Schaffhausen Zentrum. At the next traffic light turn left to Gruben. After 900 metres turn right into the Laternenacker. You will see the entrance to Merck & Cie 100 metres along the left.

Approach by train
There are good train connections from Zurich, Basel (from the Badischer Bahnhof via Germany), Stuttgart and Constance.
Take the bus (Linie 4, Emmersberg) from the railway station Schaffhausen and alight at the bus stop Kesselstrasse. Across the road is the Talstrasse. Follow it for 200 metres and you will see the entrance to Merck & Cie on the right.
